"The appropriate Treatment" for your specific condition

Each consultation starts by taking a thorough medical history of the patient before a diagnosis is made..

Gabriella then recommends the appropriate treatment, which may also include supplements and diet therapy.

All these methods, although varied, have one aim; to clear blockages and re-establish the smooth flow of Qi.

Welcome to the centre

Treatments available at the Central Coast Acupuncture and Health Spa Centre

Conditions treated at the Centre include:

Gabriella arrives at a diagnosis by taking a thorough medical history of the patient; by examining the patient - at the pulses on the wrists, the appearance of the tongue; the general appearance of the patient and the dialogue with the patient.

Based on the diagnosis, she will select a number of acupuncture points that will address that patient's health problems and work well together to create harmony and balance within the body.

The treatment will be perhaps combined with a massage or often a prescription of a Chinese Herbal formula to complement and support the acupuncture.

Acupuncture treatments involve the insertion of fine sterile needles into specific points along the body's meridians (energy pathways). Stimulating these acu-points clears blockages and encourages the normal flow of Qi throughout the body.

Gabriella may also stimulate the acu-points using other methods. These include: moxibustion (smouldering herbs placed near the points), cupping (cups applied via a suction method to various parts of the body), and massage or acupressure
